Mr. Amsing is sixty-four years old and a Canadian citizen as well as a landed immigrant in Argentina. He is married to Veronica van Kregten, an Argentine. Veronica has retired from teaching Kindergarten at Northlands in Nordelta. He has four children, Nicole, age 35, Andrew, age 30, Melanie, age 22 and Michelle, age 18. Melanie attends UBC in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Michelle recently graduated from BAICA International Christian School in San Fernando and plans to move to Vancouver, Canada to attend UBC as well. Mr. Amsing also speaks Spanish fluently and continues to study the language and culture of Latin America.

Accomplishments
1. He won one of two scholarships in his field of study and was recognized for his excellent research and academic ability especially as it relates to understanding and explaining complex theological concepts. The scholarship paid for one year of further studies toward a Master of Theology in Old Testament Studies. He also won one of two prizes for his paper on Jewish Life and Culture in Argentina.
2. He was able to successfully take a small conservative organization through a period of growth (over 100% numerical growth in three years).
3. He has been recognized as an inspiring speaker and teacher and has developed his own teaching materials for lay use. As a student he excelled at public speaking and debate as well as drama and was awarded an opportunity to speak at the United Nations in New York.
4. He has reorganized and developed the English Secondary School department of a bilingual school with a view to the inclusion of a full AICE program while at the same time maintaining the flexibility of an Option System.
5. He has been a successful Fundraiser for both non-profit and business ventures and is an effective presenter in individual, small groups or large gatherings. He has raised more than ten million dollars for various business ventures in Canada and the United States.
6. He has written a historical novel as well as a non-fiction book on philosophical, scientific and literary apologetics. He has also finished and is about to publish a collection of short stories. Writing, speaking and coaching are strong areas of interest.
7. He has successfully finished three courses in Ontological Coaching (in Spanish) and has attended courses in Life Project Coaching as well. He intends to continue his studies in Coaching with the goal of receiving a degree in that field.
8. He has trained in and successfully implemented the TPR/TPRS Methodology for learning English quickly and effectively with a focus on fluency skills first and other language skills based on a strong ability in fluency as a priority. He is creating a teacher training course for the Argentine educational context.
9. He has taught IGCSE Courses to both individual students as well as classes. He has a lot of experience with all levels of Cambridge exams, including First Certificate and the Advanced CAE.
10. He has taken the ACT Course at ESSARP and is planning to complete a Masters in Education within the next two and a half years. His thesis will be on the application of the TPR/TPRS Methodology in the Bilingual Classroom in Argentina.
Conclusions
Mr. Amsing has been trained in the field of Education and has a varied experience in bilingual education here in Argentina. He is well organized and articulate and is able to learn quickly and apply what he learns. He is creative and entrepreneurial. He has taught both adults and students and enjoys the daily challenge of teaching and management in the field of education.
